Brrr…it’s cold outside! But some girls ignore that and wear leggings and North Face jackets anyway.

Ladies, please.  Did your parents not teach you better than that? I think when a guy is walking out in the freezing cold, they have more important things on their mind than noticing how toned your butt looks. So here are my tips for staying warm and steering clear of what’s considered ‘sexy’ outerwear.

1. Wear a fleece jacket underneath your coat.

You can get them at Old Navy for thirty dollars or less. Imagine something you can wear for working out or walking to class.

They might not be the sexiest part of your wardrobe, but they serve their purpose better than one lonely North Face jacket will.

2.  Wear a hat and gloves.

It’s amazing how most people don’t realize that body heat is lost through exposure of the top and bottom of the body to the cold. So wear a hat, because that is one of the first places that will get cold when you head outside. By protecting your head and hands, you are protecting yourself from coldness.

Drinking coffee and tea when its cold can warm your body up.

3. Drink coffee or tea.

This is another alternative if you aren’t wearing either of the three things above. The liquids warm you up and fuel you for the day. Tea is the best option; there are so many flavors of tea: peppermint, earl grey, chai, etc.
