SAI Study Abroad: MADE School of Arts & Sciences (Sicily)
MADE School of Arts and Sciences offers a distinctive study abroad experience shaped by the history, culture, and geography of the Mediterranean region. Courses are taught in English and take place in Palazzo Boccadifuoco, a historic Art Nouveau building overlooking the sea in the heart of Ortigia. With Sicily serving as an extended classroom, students engage in hands-on, experiential learning through field studies, site visits, and community-based projects. Academic offerings in art and design, liberal arts and sciences, Italian studies, sustainability, migration, and Mediterranean culture are directly informed by the islands unique landscapes and multicultural heritage.
SAI Programs oversees and manages all aspects of student enrollment, including application processing, course selection and credit transfer, housing, visa advising, student health insurance, and official transcripts.
