Jeremy was very good at helping me in chemistry. He is patient and knowledgeable. His tutoring sessions are interactive and make me feel like I understand the subject better. He goes into topics in-depth and asks you questions on them throughout the sessions to make sure you're getting everything he says. We go over practice questions step-by-step. I like how Jeremy uses examples from everyday-life and explains the sections in my chemistry book in simple terms to make concepts easier to follow. I also learned some things that I didn't learn in class. I would recommend him.

Jeremy is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to Organic Chemistry. He recently took the course himself, so, the information is fresh in his mind. (He simultaneously took the course and taught a recitation class.) He explains fundamental concepts in a very understandable way. Thus, when you encounter harder problems and difficult mechanisms, you can apply the basic principles that you've learned, instead of relying on memorization. He also does a really excellent job of making things simple and clear. After a session with him, you'll often wonder why people think Organic Chemistry is so hard. He makes it seem easy. Because Jeremy is so good, however, he gets very busy. My only warning is that if you do choose him as your tutor, make sure you let him know exactly when you want him to come and do so well in advance. Even though I thought I was, I guess I could have been a lot clearer about when and how much I needed his help. Apparently, I didn't do that and so I was only able to have a few sessions with him. However, once you do have an understanding with him, I'm sure that you won't regret choosing him as your tutor and will see a great improvement in your grades.
*Remember, though, that you do have to work hard and study on your own. That is when a session with him is most productive.
